Our website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd.
When you access our website, Hostinger automatically processes server log files, including:
- IP address
- Date and time of access
- Visited pages
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referrer URL
The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, representing our legitimate interest in ensuring the secure and efficient operation of the website.
3. Collection and Processing of Personal Data
We only collect personal data when it is necessary for the operation of the website or when you voluntarily provide such data (e.g., via email).
Currently, waterwalker.io does not use:
- contact forms
- newsletter subscription forms
- embedded third-party content

Waterwalker.io currently uses no cookies that store personal data or serve analytical/marketing purposes.

Google Analytics is currently not active.
If we activate Google Analytics in the future, processing will include:

- Data transfer to Google LLC (USA) using EU Standard Contractual Clauses
- Consent via a cookie banner
- The right to withdraw consent at any time
This section will be updated once Google Analytics is implemented.
6. Embedded Content (YouTube, Google Maps, Social Media) – Future Use
Currently, waterwalker.io does not embed external media or plugins such as:
- YouTube videos
- Google Maps
- Instagram / TikTok / Facebook embeds
- Widgets or external scripts
Future integrations will only be loaded after explicit user consent.
7. Data Sharing with Third Parties
We share personal data only when:
- it is necessary for operating the website (e.g., Hostinger),
- you have given consent, or
- we are legally required to do so.
No data is sold to third parties.
8. Data Transfers to Third Countries
No data is currently transferred outside the EU/EEA.
If future tools process data in third countries (e.g., Google services in the USA), we will apply:
